If you only compare price per GB, ATOMA has the best data deals in Afghanistan: its Monthly 30GB plan works out at about $0.54 per GB, against roughly $0.78–0.80 per GB for the biggest AWCC and Etisalat monthly bundles. For small bundles the three networks are close, and AWCC has the cheapest 1-day 1 GB pack. But the best network to send data to is always the one your family's SIM is already on — you cannot send an ATOMA bundle to an AWCC number.
We compared every data package we sell for the three networks. All prices are what TopUpAFG charged on 28 October 2026, in US dollars, including fees; operator prices change, and the live price is always shown before you pay.

What this shows:
- Under 5 GB, Etisalat and AWCC are slightly cheaper than ATOMA for the same 3 GB.
- Around 12–13 GB, all three cost about the same ($12.14–12.21).
- Above 20 GB, ATOMA is clearly cheapest — Monthly 30GB gives more data than Etisalat's or AWCC's 25 GB for about $4 less.
Daily and weekly bundles compared
| Bundle | ATOMA | Etisalat | AWCC |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 GB for 1 day | $1.31 (or 1.3 GB for $1.31) | $1.31 | $1.20 |
| 3 GB for 1 day | $2.09 | — | — |
| About 1.5 GB for 7 days | 2 GB — $3.08 | 1500 MB — $2.26 | 1.5 GB — $2.45 |
| 3 GB for 7 days | $4.26 | — | — |
For a single day, AWCC's 1 GB is the cheapest pack, but ATOMA's 24-hour 1.3 GB gives a little more for $1.31, and its 24-hour 3 GB at $2.09 is very good value if they will use it. For a week, Etisalat's 1500 MB at $2.26 is the cheapest way to cover about 1.5 GB.
Extras only one network offers
- ATOMA hourly packs — from 130 MB for 1 hour ($0.42) to 2 GB for 2 hours ($0.91). Good for a single long family call.
- ATOMA night packages — Nightly 3 GB for 7 days ($1.11) and 10 GB Nightly for 30 days ($3.26), usable at night only.
- ATOMA combo packages — data plus free minutes to other ATOMA numbers, such as 8 GB + 1000 minutes for $10.16.
- AWCC voice bundles — minutes-only packages, from 125 minutes for 1 day ($0.84) to 6600 minutes for 30 days ($10.07).
Full ATOMA prices are in ATOMA internet packages; for the other networks see Etisalat data packages and AWCC data packages.
What about Roshan and Salaam?
TopUpAFG does not currently sell ready-made data bundles for Roshan (072, 079) or Salaam (074, 075) numbers. For those networks, send airtime and they can buy an internet package from their own phone. See Roshan top-up and Salaam top-up.
So which network should you choose?
- Your family already has a SIM: send a bundle on that network — switching SIMs just to save a little rarely makes sense.
- Heavy users (videos, TikTok, a whole household on one phone): ATOMA's Monthly 30GB is the best value of the three.
- Light users (messages and calls, under 5 GB): Etisalat and AWCC are slightly cheaper for 3 GB.
- Coverage matters most: a cheap bundle is useless without signal. Ask which network works best where they live — coverage varies a lot between cities and villages.
